We are the Friends of Horsforth Hall Park. We are committed to ensuring the park continues to bring together our community and remains a safe, beautiful green space for play, community gatherings, and all to enjoy for generations to come.

Community Garden
We meet every Thursday afternoon 1.30pm to 3.30pm
Health & Wellbeing Gardening
We meet every Saturday 10am to 12 noon
Skatepark
Maintaining our very technical skatepark and creating new designs
 
Education
To plan and promote nature activities

Our first project was the Horsforth Community Garden, a space to grow fruit, vegetables and herbs and learn about plants and gardening and feel the benefits of nature.

To celebrate the Millennium, the garden was extended, redesigned and replanted with traditional herbaceous border and shade-loving perennials under the trees in front of the Japanese Garden.

MILLENNIUM GARDEN

Combining the elements of air, water and earth, the Japanese garden transports you to a magical world of peace, tranquillity and calm.  Water, rocks, bridges & beautiful view points all enclosed within a traditional English walled garden..
